Kewpie Doll Manufacturer Mordialloc

Garry’s parents were proprietors of a toy shop in a south eastern suburb of Melbourne. As a youngster during the 1960’s his father would take Garry to see a gentleman in Mordialloc who manufactured light weight kewpie dolls and supplied the Royal Melbourne and regional Shows with his completed dolls on cane.  The PVC granules required for making the Kewpie dolls were obtained from Nylex. As times moved on, it could be foreseen by this gentleman that it would be more financially viable to have the dolls (only) made in Indonesia and dressed and completed in Australia. It was at this time th gentleman found he could complete the dolls and sell them from his home in Lyndhurst (Vic) and thus sold his factory.  Does anyone know the name of the gentleman who made the Kewpie dolls?
